Spending a night under the stars with our astronomers at the GDC observatory is an experience you will never forget. Observe planets, clusters, galaxies and nebulae as our talented staff take you on a journey throughout the cosmos. Gravity Discovery Centre is located on DBCA land and as a result has incredible flora and fauna all around and they are internationally recognised as a biodiversity hot spot. The stunning yellow Morrison springs to life in November, with the stunning display lasting through to mid January.
The GDC is an inspirational self supporting, non-profit public and tourism centre that focusses on the big questions of Life and the Universe, and the extraordinary biodiversity of Wallingup Plain.

The GDC is situated alongside the Australian International Gravitational Observatory (AIGO) on Military Road in the Shire of Gingin, just north of Yanchep.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are permitted as long as the Observatory is notified 24 hours prior to the booked session. You are welcome to reschedule your visit for another evening. Refunds are only given for exceptional circumstances
